Two tracked bulldozers have joined the equipment fleet of the port of Ust-Luga

New tracked bulldozers made by Case (USA) were introduced to the vehicle fleet of the port of Ust-Luga. 25 million rubles were spent to purchase the machinery.

The new equipment was purchased in the framework of the port infrastructure development and upgrading program for the terminal Yug-2 and intended for coal trimming in the hold of the vessel.        

Vehicles by American brand assembled in Italy (model 1150L) are fitted with FPT Industrial engines with automatic belt tensioners and tracks of CASE Lubricated Treads type. Also, the bulldozers are fitted with a cooling system with radiator, protected from the possible effects of sand, as also manual tilt adjustment from 55° to 60°. The machine is manipulated with a single joystick to control speed and direction of travel. For the convenience of the driver, cab is equipped with air conditioning and adjustable seat and armrests.

JSC "Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga" (CSP of Ust-Luga) is the operator of two terminals in the port of Ust-Luga: the Multipurpose Terminal Yug-2 (MPT Yug-2) and the Auto-Railway Ferry Terminal (ARFT). The total cargo turnover of the Multipurpose Terminal Yug-2 (MPT Yug-2) and the Auto-Railway Ferry Terminal (ARFT) of JSC "Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga" in 2017 was 3,800 thousand tons.
