The growth of the cargo turnover of marine Baltic Sea ports

In the period from January to July 2016 the cargo turnover of the Baltic sea ports increased by 2%.

According to the Russian Association of Sea Commercial Ports the volume of the cargo transshipment in the Russian Baltic Sea ports in the period of time from January till July 2016 increased to 135.8 million tons, which shows an increase of 2.1% compared to the same period of the last year.

The volume of transshipment of dry cargo increased by 0.9% to 50.7 million tons.

Processing of the liquid cargo increased by 2.9% to 85.1 million tons.

The cargo turnover of the sea port of Ust-Luga increased by 5,7%  to 53 million tons, the sea port of Primorsk grew by 10%  to 37.7 million tons.
